Liberty Saloon in San Antonio’s Pearl District is set to welcome a new restaurant from Houston-based Bludorn Hospitality Group this fall, according to a media release seen by WhatNow San Antonio.
It will be located at 239 E Grayson St, San Antonio, TX 78215. Bludorn Hospitality Group (BHG), led by chef Aaron Bludorn alongside partners Victoria Pappas Bludorn and Cherif Mbodji, will open its sixth restaurant and first location outside of the greater Houston area within the historic 19th-century Boehler’s Liberty Saloon building.
The upcoming concept marks a major milestone for the group as it expands into the San Antonio market for the first time, bringing its Gulf Coast–inspired hospitality to one of the city’s most established dining destinations.
Chef Bludorn said San Antonio’s culinary scene and strong sense of community made it a natural choice for the group’s first expansion outside Houston.
“San Antonio’s rich culinary landscape, deep sense of community and appreciation for hospitality made it a natural fit,” the team shared in the media release.
BHG noted that it is drawn to spaces with history and character, with plans to preserve and enhance the legacy of the Liberty Saloon building while introducing its own distinct identity.
Founded in 2020, Bludorn Hospitality Group currently operates four restaurants in Houston, including Bludorn, Navy Blue, Bar Bludorn, and Perseid at Hotel Saint Augustine.
More details on the new Pearl District concept are expected to be released in the coming months.
