A new locally owned wine bar and bottle shop is preparing to join the New Braunfels hospitality scene, according to Community Impact.

Wine Folks is set to open at 967 N. Academy Ave. in New Braunfels, with husband-and-wife duo Danielle and Jason Grantham behind the concept. Danielle Grantham said the team is aiming for a June opening; however, it is yet to be confirmed.

The neighborhood spot will offer a mix of beer, wine, and provisions, along with a retail section featuring wine by the bottle, Texas craft beers, artisan snacks, and more. Guests can also expect a bar and lounge area serving wine by the glass, draft beer, and non-alcoholic beverage options.

“We want to be the place you come to relax, try something new, laugh with friends or make new ones and leave with a smile,” Grantham said, who told the publication mentioned above.

She added that the concept is rooted in community and connection, designed as a welcoming space for locals to gather.

She described Wine Folks as a project rooted in that mission, saying it goes beyond beer and wine to serve as a welcoming space centered on family, connection, and community.
