Several popular restaurant concepts are expanding across Metro Atlanta. Last week, WhatNow uncovered several of these restaurants upcoming plans for new Metro Atlanta locations.

Little Tart and Other Upcoming Atlanta Openings

The lineup includes some new openings, which will elevate the city’s dining experience. Here’s a look at these openings:

Little Tart

Little Tart is opening its fourth location and will be taking over a former bridal shop. Located in Chandler Park, the new store will also debut the bakeshop’s sister concept, Midi. Founder Sarah O’Brien drew inspiration from cafes and restaurants in Paris when envisioning Midi.

Little Tart will serve a full espresso menu, baked goods, and pastries at the new location. Midi will add sandwiches, salads, small bites, and a wine and cocktail program to the menu. Read more about the opening here.

Hawaiian Bros Island Grill

Hawaiian Bros Island Grill continues its expansion in Georgia. The new location is opening in downtown Atlanta. The brand currently has locations primarily in the Midwest, and this will be its second in Georgia.

The brand is known for its Hawaiian-inspired fast-casual meals. The menu includes Huli Huli Chicken, Molokai Chicken, Luau Pig, and Pacific Island Salad. Read more about the opening here.

Trap Wingz

Trap Wingz is expanding its footprint to two new locations this year. The local wings spot is opening at Camp Creek Marketplace, with a second location planned in Cobb County. The Camp Creek Marketplace location is expected to open in the next two months.

The brand has existing locations along Piedmont Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The menu includes wings, smashburgers, sandwiches, and sides. Read more about the opening here.

SAYO Japanese Restaurant

SAYO Japanese restaurant is set to open in Peachtree Hills. The restaurant is owned by Karen Halim, and Chef San, a local sushi chef, will lead its menu. The restaurant is expected to open in either June or July.

The restaurant will cover 2,121-square-foot space and seat 50 guests. The menu will feature sushi offerings, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls. Read more about the opening here.

Curated Coffee Books & Plants

The coffee pop-up, Curated Coffee Books & Plants, is opening a brick-and-mortar location. Owner Stephanie Scibilia announced the opening on the brand’s website. The location is expected to open sometime this year.

Bayou Brew Coffee Co.

Jonie Paden is bringing her legacy of Louisiana traditions with the opening of Bayou Brew Coffee Co. The brand is set to open in Powder Springs in a 1,400-square-foot space. She aims to bring a piece of New Orleans to the location and to the community.

The new space will feature signature New Orleans-inspired elements. The menu will feature Louisiana-inspired chicory coffee, handcrafted coffee drinks, beignets, Boudin balls, and snow cones. Read more about the opening here.
