A new live music venue is in the works at 1113 Del Paso Boulevard in Old North Sacramento, where Green Box LLC is proposing a 2,000-capacity entertainment space with a stage, mezzanine, bars, VIP areas, and outdoor patio space, according to details reported by the Sacramento Business Journal. The project is still working its way through city review, and no opening timeline has been set.
The project would bring another large live entertainment concept to Sacramento as the city continues seeing more venue proposals and nightlife developments. Brett Powell of Green Box LLC, who is listed as the project applicant, said that the goal is to create a high-quality venue focused on the experience for both fans and artists.
The proposed first floor would include a single main stage, three bars, and an outdoor patio on the east side of the building. The entrance and lobby area along Del Paso Boulevard would also include restrooms and a VIP club with its own bar, while offices and green rooms for performers would be located behind the stage.
Plans also call for a new interior mezzanine with both seated and standing-room viewing areas, giving guests different ways to experience shows. The mezzanine would also include another VIP club area and bar.
The building is a 17,748-square-foot structure built in 1989 that previously housed Limn, an upscale furniture retailer. The most recent activity at the property came in February 2026, when a permit was issued for interior demolition, suggesting early prep work may already be underway. The building is owned by Anoz LLC, an El Dorado Hills-based entity.
