Jody’s famous cinnamon rolls and deli classics are set to arrive in Lexington this summer.
Cinnamon Roll Deli, owned by Jody Kreush, is opening at 309 S. Lake Dr. A Town of Lexington Planning and Zoning filing from April 2026 shows the shop is under construction.
The second outpost will join its flagship location on Devine St. in Columbia.
Cinnamon Roll Deli has received numerous accolades, including Best New Restaurant in Columbia, recognition from BuzzFeed as a top pick based on strong Yelp reviews, national attention for its Cinnamonster on Food Network’s Ginormous Foods, and Best Breakfast in South Carolina from People magazine.
The cinnamon rolls are made in-house daily using a signature Hawaiian sweet bread recipe. Flavors include original cinnamon, wildberry graham cracker crumble, strawberry cheesecake, bourbon caramel, apple cobbler, bananas foster and black pepper maple glaze.
In addition to its signature rolls, the deli serves breakfast sandwiches, bagels and grit bowls.
Standout items include “The Best in Show,” with two eggs, baked ham, whole-grain honey mustard and a choice of cheddar, provolone or Swiss cheese; “The Big D,” with two eggs, pepperoni, provolone and roasted garlic spread; and its award-winning chili and grits, topped with cheese, grilled onions, cilantro, sour cream and an egg.
Cinnamon Roll Deli’s mission is to bring the community together. It partners with local artists, featuring their work in the shop, and works with SQ Rescue.
