Sushi eatery seeks to increase street visibility with new patio.

One West Midtown restaurant doesn’t want to miss out on the action of patio season.

Eight Sushi Lounge is adding a 800-square-foot outdoor patio that will be completed later this spring, according to a press release Tuesday.

The new covered patio will accommodate up to 45 diners for both lunch and dinner service and will be a feature of Eight Sushi Lounge year-round.

The restaurant, which was recently featured in a Zagat post titled “9 New Atlanta Restaurants That Should Be Getting More Love,” is situated in a hard-to-spot location, which owner Lei Ho appears to be addressing.

“Not only will the patio create a prominent street presence to attract diners, it will be completed in about eight weeks and be just in time for perfect al fresco dining.”

Otherwise, the restaurant has built an excellent reputation on Yelp, and was featured on Jezebel’s Top 100 Hottest Restaurants of 2016.
