Nikki C’s Bar and Grill has said a permanent goodbye to Pasadena after 22 years of service. In a social media post, the restaurant announced it will not reopen. Due to ongoing structural issues with the building’s roof, the restaurant has decided to close permanently.
Nikki C Says Goodbye After 22 Years of Service
Founded in 2004, Nikki C’s Bar and Grill was located at 470 South Rosemead Boulevard. The restaurant served Italian cuisine from its South Rosemead Boulevard location.
The restaurant temporarily shut down in November 2025 and planned to reopen after renovation. However, on June 21, 2026, Nikki C’s team shared, “The truth is that Nikki C’s will not reopen.”
“Last November, after years of deterioration, the roof of our building finally failed. The storm that came through didn’t just damage the building; it ended a chapter of our lives. We closed our doors believing we would somehow find a path forward, spending seven months exploring every legality, every option imaginable.”
The team further explained, “The loss of most of our parking and the condition of the building itself posed detrimental regulatory obstacles. Rebuilding from the ground up is no longer something we can realistically do.”
Reflecting on the history of the restaurant, current owner Nikki C said, “22 years ago, my grandfather put my name on a restaurant. He called it Nikki C’s. At the time, I had no idea that a little sign would become my life, my family’s life, and the lives of so many people in this community.”
Community Invited to Final Farewell Sale
In the post, the restaurant thanked the community for its support over the years. “From the bottom of my heart, thank you for 21 unforgettable years. Thank you for loving little Nikki C. We’ll miss you more than you’ll ever know,” said the team.
The business is hosting a farewell sale this week, offering memorabilia and other items to longtime patrons.
The owner said, “So before we say goodbye forever, we’d like to invite you back one last time. This week, we will be opening our doors for a final community sale.”
“Please, take home a small piece of Nikki C’s if you’d like,” encourages the restaurant.
As Nikki C’s Bar and Grill prepares for its final goodbye, the Pasadena dining community will cherish the lasting memories created in the restaurant.
