An Italian restaurant is preparing to relocate its Lafayette Hill location, but the move will keep it close to home.
From The Boot, owned by the Ciaffone family and partner Robert Devine, is set to open at the Shops of Lafayette Hill, moving from its longtime home at 517 Germantown Pike to 400 Germantown Pike, according to an Instagram highlight.
“Come say goodbye to the storefront that we’ve had for the past 27 years. We can’t wait for you to see our new place. Thank you for all the love and support,” the post read.
From The Boot began in Lafayette Hill in 1999 as a small takeout operation before growing into a 56-seat full-service restaurant. The Italian eatery later expanded to Ambler in 2009 and opened a third location in Blue Bell three years later.
“From The Boot is built on tradition—family recipes, authentic flavors, and a commitment to quality. From our famous garlic rolls to our handmade pastas and comforting Italian classics, every dish is made with care and served with a smile,” the website reads.
Menu favorites include gnocchi alla vodka, chicken parmigiana, eggplant rollatini, chicken margherita, veal saltimbocca, pasta fagioli and stuffed chicken saltimbocca.
The current location will remain open through July 2, while an opening date for the new spot has yet to be announced.
