An Allentown brewery is expanding its footprint with plans for a third location this fall.

McCall Collective Brewing Co., founded by Chris and Kaitlin McCall, is set to take over the former Bru Daddy’s space in downtown Allentown, according to WFMZ.

The brewery currently operates another location in Allentown as well as a taproom in Breinigsville.

“Since opening our doors in 2020, Allentown has been home. We’ve been fortunate to grow alongside this community, and when the opportunity to become part of Downtown’s continued growth presented itself, it felt like a natural fit for us,” the owners shared via Instagram.

McCall Collective plans to put its own stamp on the space, though the property at 732 Hamilton St. will not require a major renovation or buildout.

“One of the things that attracted us to the location is that it already has so much character. The expansive beer garden, exposed brick, beautiful décor, and overall atmosphere have helped make it a destination for years. We’ll add our own touches over time, but our goal is to build on what already works rather than reinvent it,” the post read.

The Susquehanna Street location will continue operating under its regular hours and remain the brewery’s primary production facility, though brewing operations are also planned for the downtown site.

“We believe South Allentown and Downtown Allentown each offer something unique, and we’re excited to continue investing in both communities,” the post read.

Over the coming months, McCall Collective will work alongside the Bru Daddy’s team to “learn the operation, meet the people who have made the location successful, and create a thoughtful transition.”

Collective Club member benefits will be honored at the new location, and a new introductory membership program will be available for downtown guests.

More information is expected to be released soon. Follow McCall Collective Brewing Co. on Instagram and visit its website for updates.
