Port Side, a coffee and breakfast spot, has announced its permanent closure. After ten years of service, the coffee shop will be closing its doors on Sunday, July 5.
Port Side to Serve Its Final Cup of Coffee on July 5
Located at 2500 Larimer Street in the Five Points neighborhood, Port Side has been a local favorite for a decade. The spot is known for its chef-driven breakfast and lunch menu, along with freshly brewed coffee.
In an Instagram post, the team wrote, “Big thanks to everyone that came by or wished us good luck or high fives, left a note or a like on our 10 year run.”
He added “I decided not to re-sign our lease and go out on my terms, on top, in a good place. Port Side’s last day of service will be Sunday July 5. That leaves 3 weekends to say our “see you laters” and get that fix.”

According to the closure announcement, the owner of Port Side, Chris Bell, has decided not to renew the lease of the spot. He added, “Until then, know that I am happy with this decision but will miss serving you every week.”
In a Westword report, Bell stated that the business operations are taking a toll on his body.
