Bee Cave Acupuncture, a holistic wellness clinic founded in Austin, plans a new location on the southwest side of the city, according to public filings. The clinic plans to open at 6001 W. William Cannon Drive, with a projected opening as early as late July or August 2026.

What Now Dallas spoke to Carlos Almeida, business and operations manager, who shared that the William Cannon location would mark the practice’s third clinic, joining its original Bee Cave location and a second outpost in West Lake Hills.

The new location targets the Circle C and Legend Oaks communities, areas Almeida described as family-oriented and underserved when it comes to holistic health options.

“We believe that acupuncture and herbs and all that is well geared for this type of families where it’s a more holistic approach for healing,” Almeida told What Now Austin. “That’s why we decided to open in this area — targeting families where we believe we can have a big impact in their health journey.”

Bee Cave Acupuncture was founded by Alejandra Junco, a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and functional nutritionist whose path to the practice began when her young son’s chronic illness went unresolved by conventional medicine. After discovering acupuncture and herbal treatment, her son recovered rapidly, an experience that shaped the clinic’s philosophy ever since.

That philosophy, as Almeida describes it, is built around a three-tier approach: helping patients feel better by reducing symptoms, healing deeply by addressing the root causes of those symptoms, and staying well through preventative and maintenance care over time.

“The body heals itself — it’s the best healer of itself,” Almeida said. “With acupuncture and herbs, we promote that process to happen more effectively.”

As for expansion, Almeida said the priority right now is consolidating the three Austin locations before considering new cities. The clinic believes Austin still has communities it has not yet reached.

“Unless you have been recommended, you’re not going to drive more than fifteen, twenty minutes,” he said. “We want to bring that convenience, and we feel we could still be growing in Austin before thinking of expanding to other areas.”
