Mount Pleasant is set to welcome a new shop.

Anthropologie will join the lineup at The Fairmount Shopping Plaza, 1035 Johnnie Dodds Blvd., according to The Post and Courier.

RCB Development purchased the plaza in May 2025 and began exterior renovations and upgrades. The property is home to restaurants, service providers and neighborhood retailers.

Anthropologie opened its first store in 1992 in Wayne, Pennsylvania. Today, the brand, part of the URBN portfolio, operates more than 200 stores worldwide.

The lifestyle retailer offers women’s apparel, accessories, beauty products, home décor, furniture and gifts. The brand is known for its curated assortment of fashion-forward styles, distinctive home furnishings and seasonal collections.

The Mount Pleasant store will mark Anthropologie’s fifth location in South Carolina, joining stores in Myrtle Beach, downtown Greenville, Columbia and Charleston’s Historic District.

What Now Philadelphia reached out to RCB Development about the project, however a spokesperson said the company could not comment at this time.

An opening date has not yet been announced. Visit the Anthropologie website and follow along on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates.
