Ugly Bagel opened its newest Tennessee location on July 1 at 1913 N. Mt. Juliet Road in the Everette Downs development. The opening marks the brand’s third Tennessee location in just 18 months.

The brand first opened its store in The Arcade Nashville, followed by a second location in Cool Springs. The new location is open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“I keep going back to our opening week in The Arcade Nashville,” said Jeff Crabiel, co-founder of Ugly Bagel. “I was talking with guests when a gentleman stopped and said, ‘Please come to Mt. Juliet.’ At the time, we were just trying to make it through week one. Opening a third store felt a long way off. Today, it becomes a reality.”

About the New Store

Co-founders Jeff Crabiel and Jake Strang, both Middle Tennessee natives, opened the Mt. Juliet location. Together, they have more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. The new location serves the brand’s hand-rolled bagels, cream cheese spreads, sandwiches, coffee, and monthly specialty flavors.

The restaurant also introduces two new summer drinks: Pink Dragon Lemonade and Brain Freeze. Pink Dragon Lemonade is made with lemonade, club soda, and dragon fruit syrup, while Brain Freeze combines Hawaiian Shaved Ice Alani, strawberry purée, and vanilla cold foam.

The Mt. Juliet location also features a “Bagel Concierge,” a staff member who helps guests customize their orders using self-service kiosks. Customers can order in-store, online, through the Ugly Bagel app, or via the restaurant’s catering service.

The Mt. Juliet restaurant marks Ugly Bagel’s third Tennessee location as the brand continues to grow across Middle Tennessee.
