East Nashville is expected to welcome a new neighborhood bar later this month as Hot Ticket prepares to open at 311 Gallatin Avenue, in the former Donut Distillery space on the edge of the Five Points neighborhood. According to the Nashville Business Journal, citing Nashville Scene, the concept comes from Angel Bond, Kylee McCoy, and Donut Distillery co-founder Shauna McCoy.
Slated to open by the end of July, Hot Ticket will serve handcrafted cocktails alongside light bites, a late-night menu, and brunch offerings, according to Nashville Scene. The venue will also feature live music, a dance floor, and a rotating lineup of community events designed to create a welcoming gathering place for locals.
In an Instagram announcement, the team described Hot Ticket as “our next chapter — a place for bangin’ cocktails, small plates, live music, dancing and creativity in all its forms,” adding that it aims to be “a home for DJs, musicians, painters, writers, dancers and anyone looking for connection, inspiration and a damn good time.”
According to the publications, the bar plans to showcase work from local artists while hosting art classes, storytelling events, spoken-word nights, and other creative programming throughout the week.
“We’re mom-and-pop still, so we don’t have all the money people have to throw at things,” Kylee McCoy told Nashville Scene. “Everything we’re doing is very intentional. We’re trying our hardest with what we have, and I think it’s not about how much money you have — it’s about what you do with it, and the vibe you can bring.”
WhatNow Nashville reached out to representatives for comment but did not receive a response at the time of publication.
