Living Fresh Market Team Building Second Store in West Pullman

The grocery store concept is replacing the Aldi that closed in 2024.

A destination for fresh produce and meats is coming to the South Side neighborhood.

It has been announced a new Living Fresh Market location is planned for 821 W 115th Street in the West Pullman area of Chicago. This is on the far south side, and follows their Forest Park debut at 7520 Roosevelt Road. The Living Fresh team is hoping to debut the second store around spring 2027.

Living Fresh first opened in 2018 on Roosevelt Road, and was acquired by Dr. Bill Winston and his daughter, Melody Winston in 2022, who are both associated with Living Word Christian Center. Now, the team is looking at expansion in a new part of the city.

The Forest Park store sells grocery items from many departments, as well as household items, health and beauty products. Those shopping can also choose from meats and seafood on display. The full list of items is available on their website.

The team has reportedly received a community development grant to allow them to build a the site. This new grocery store is opening in the same plaza as DTLR shoe store and an Autozone, at the intersection of S Halsted Street. Luxe Studio & Decor is also in this plaza.
