Hazy Vintage is preparing to open its first permanent storefront at 4305 University Way NE in Seattle’s University District. Founder Sophie Hayes announced the expansion on Instagram, saying the shop is expected to open in August, with an exact opening date still to be announced.

The store will occupy the former Four Corners Art & Frame space. The longtime U District business permanently closed earlier this year after serving the neighborhood for 40 years.

After eight years of selling online, at pop-up events and local markets, Hayes said opening a storefront has been a longtime goal.

“This has been the dream all along. After years of planning and working toward it, it’s still so surreal to see it becoming a reality. Since June, we’ve been working nonstop to transform the space into something fun and special,” reads the Instagram announcement.

Based in Seattle, Hazy Vintage specializes in curated secondhand clothing and accessories, including tops, jeans, bottoms, dresses, and outerwear. The brand focuses on helping customers express their personal style while promoting more sustainable fashion through secondhand clothing.
