A new playground focused on growth, creativity and community plans to open in Marble Falls. According to public filings, Little Legends Indoor Play Gym is planning to open at 1840 US-281, Suite 100, in Marble Falls. What Now Austin spoke with owner Emma Drake and her husband, William Drake, who is helping her run the project. The couple shared that the goal is to open by the end of summer, depending on city approvals
The Drakes said the location was a natural fit given the growth happening just south of town. “There are several new subdivisions in the area,” they told What Now Austin, which sits within Marble Falls city limits. The residential growth in the surrounding neighborhoods helped make the case for bringing an indoor play space to that part of the community, and from a gap Drake noticed locally.
“It was actually mostly out of necessity for the community. We knew that there was no real indoor play area that incorporated some kind of relaxed time for the parents,” she told What Now Austin. That observation shaped the concept, which will include coffee, pizza, WiFi and a two-and-a-half to three-story play structure designed to give kids room to climb and explore while parents get a break.
Drake said the Marble Falls location is meant to be the first of several. “We’re in talks of more locations,” they said, adding that the team wanted to get this one open before expanding further across the state.
For the community welcoming the new gym, the Drakes kept their message simple: “We are ready to play and really excited to be part of the Marble Falls community. We hope to be a part of the community for years to come.”
