Brasa Peruvian Kitchen, a modern Peruvian restaurant known for its “Good Mood Superfoods” concept, is preparing to open its first airport location at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
The company’s flagship airport location is expected to open in summer 2026 in Terminal 1, post-security, according to QSR Magazine. The restaurant will be operated in partnership with Banmore Group, a family-run hospitality company with experience in high-volume operations. The collaboration between Brasa, Banmore Group, and Toronto Pearson Airport will introduce the brand’s modern Peruvian cuisine to millions of travelers each year. Customers can expect Brasa’s signature menu featuring fresh ingredients, Peruvian-inspired dishes, and a focus on convenient airport dining.
“This is a defining moment for Brasa. Toronto Pearson is one of the most important gateways in North America,” Michel Falcon, Founder and CEO of Brasa Peruvian Kitchen, said in a news release. “To bring our food, our culture, and our hospitality to travelers from around the world is incredibly meaningful for us. We’re extremely thankful to have the support of the Banmore Group and Toronto Pearson.”
Brasa Peruvian Kitchen currently operates three corporate locations and two franchise locations across Toronto and New York. The company recently launched its franchising program, which is aimed at experienced multi-unit operators as Brasa continues expanding across North America. The Toronto Pearson location will mark the brand’s first airport opening and a significant milestone in its growth.
The new restaurant will introduce Brasa’s food and hospitality to an international audience traveling through one of Canada’s busiest airports. Toronto Pearson’s Terminal 1 serves both domestic and international travelers, creating an opportunity for the brand to reach customers from around the world. The airport location is expected to maintain the same focus on quality and service found at Brasa’s existing restaurants.
Brasa’s menu is centered around modern Peruvian cuisine, incorporating flavors and ingredients inspired by Peru while creating options suited for everyday dining. The company’s “Good Mood Superfoods” concept focuses on flavorful meals made with fresh ingredients, giving travelers another dining option before their flights.
“From our very first conversation with Michel, it was clear that Brasa and Banmore Group share the same values, quality, hospitality, and a genuine commitment to the people we serve.” Raj Chokker, President of Banmore Group, said in the news release. “Becoming Brasa’s first franchise partner is a milestone we do not take lightly, and we look forward to setting the standard for what this partnership can become.”
