Din Tai Fung is opening its fourth restaurant in Orange County at Brea Mall. Located at 1401 Brea Mall Lane, the new restaurant will join Din Tai Fung’s growing presence across Southern California. The restaurant is accepting reservations for its soft opening, followed by a grand opening celebration.
Din Tai Fung to Introduce Fourth Orange County Location

Din Tai Fung’s new Brea restaurant in Orange County will join its existing locations in Costa Mesa, Irvine, and Anaheim. The restaurant is aimed at offering the brand’s renowned dining experience to one of the busiest shopping destinations.
The restaurant will welcome diners with a reservation-only soft opening starting August 7. The location will have a phased rollout of takeout, walk-in dining, and delivery services. A grand opening is planned for August 31. Din Tai Fung has been accepting online reservations for the soft opening since July 24.

At Din Tai Fung, diners can enjoy signature Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings), handmade dumplings, noodles, fried rice, wontons, and steamed buns. The menu also features a selection of appetizers, vegetables, desserts, and beverages.
Din Tai Fung Brand and Brea Mall’s Redevelopment
Din Tai Fung was founded in Taiwan in 1958 as a cooking oil retail business. It later evolved into a globally recognized restaurant brand. The brand is especially known for its open kitchen concept. where guests can watch chefs carefully fold each Xiao Long Bao.
Today, the family-run business serves customers in Asia, North America, Australia, and the Middle East.
The opening also aligns with Brea Mall’s ongoing transformation. The project is expected to transform the shopping center into a more integrated retail, dining, and entertainment destination.
The new Brea location will give Orange County diners another opportunity to experience Din Tai Fung’s Taiwanese cuisine.
