A health-focused eatery is set to grow its presence in Manhattan this fall.

Founded by friends Sam Eckstein and Jordan Feldman, Springbone Kitchen will join the lineup at the recently announced The Market Hall at Manhattan West.

The 34,000-square-foot hall will feature 12 casual dining concepts, including Springbone Kitchen, along with an independent full-service restaurant, a full-service indoor bar, a rooftop terrace bar and retail offerings.

Other announced concepts include Alfalfa, BKLYN Larder, Matter, Shifka, Super Burrito and Sushi Counter.

Springbone Kitchen grew out of the founders’ struggle to find time to prepare nourishing home-cooked meals and a lack of healthy takeout and delivery options, prompting them to create their own solution, according to the website.

The eatery specializes in bowls, broths and soups. Guests can also purchase frozen bone broth to take home or have it shipped nationwide.

Standout menu items include the “Grandma’s Chicken and Rice,” made with chicken thigh, bone broth rice, lemon-garlic broccoli, cabbage slaw, cashew white sauce and hot sauce; the “Liquid Gold,” a bone broth with classic chicken broth, coconut milk and turmeric; and a lentil soup made with lentils, chicken bone broth, sweet potatoes, kale, celery and carrots.

In addition to its signature fare, the eatery serves smoothies, gluten-free cookies and brownies.

The upcoming location will join existing New York outposts on the Upper West Side, Upper East Side, Flatiron, Midtown West, Midtown East, Brookfield Place, the Financial District, Greenwich Village, a soup stand in Union Square, DUMBO and Williamsburg.

Beyond New York, Springbone Kitchen operates locations in New Jersey and Washington, D.C.

An official opening date has not yet been announced. Visit the Springbone Kitchen website and follow along on Instagram and Facebook.
