Crunch Fitness is planning five new Phoenix-area locations through 2027, beginning with four gyms expected to open by the end of this year. The expansion is being led by franchisee Southwest Fitness Holdings, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.
The first openings include locations in Ahwatukee at 5021 E. Ray Road, Arcadia at 4533 E. Thomas Road, Paradise Valley at 10665 N. Tatum Boulevard, and Mesa at 1655 S. Stapley Drive. All four are expected to open by the end of 2026. A fifth location will follow at 8195 W. Bell Road in Peoria in 2027.
The plan includes these five sites as part of a broader expansion to reach 20 Crunch Fitness locations in the area by the end of 2027. Additional addresses or opening dates have not yet been announced.
Southwest Fitness Holdings operates under CR Fitness Holdings, which runs nearly 100 Crunch gyms and has the largest franchise portfolio for the brand.
Each gym is expected to include strength and cardio equipment, group fitness studios, personal training, cycling classes, HIITZone training areas, and recovery amenities.
