Lily Rain is on the move! The boutique women’s lifestyle and fashion retailer has moved its flagship store in Houston’s Rice Village, according to the Houston Business Journal. The store has not moved far from the original Lily Rain location to 2515 University Blvd.
The new Lily Rain store is still in Rice Village, but now sits next to Hemline and across University Blvd. from Sixty Vines. The location change was decided earlier this year. The brand wanted to downsize to fit the boutique feel.
What Now Houston reached out to the Store Manager of the Lily Rain Rice Village location, Jocelin Gonzalez. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“We wanted to create a space that was inspiring to all the senses, where shoppers can browse an interesting, unexpected assortment of smart fashion finds, including apparel and accessories, as well as original home décor and gifts,” the Lily Rain website reads.
“It’s the best kind of mix for a shopper who lives for discovery!”
The Houston-based women’s apparel and jewelry store was founded in 2014 as an online store offering apparel, accessories, and home decor. Lily Rain opened its first concept store in Houston’s Rice Village in April 2014. The brand now sells women’s clothing, jewelry, footwear, gifts, beauty items, and home furnishings. There are now four Lily Rain stores in the Greater Houston region, including the Rice Village location on University Blvd.
What Now also reached out to Lily Rain’s Director of Store Operations, Debbie Flores, to find out more about the move. But we did not hear back by the time of this publication.
There’s already another store set to take over the former Rice Valley location that Lily Rain occupied on University Blvd. Hill House Home is expected to open at 2414 University Blvd, Suite 136, this fall.
