Local BODYROK franchise Meredith Lobb has three new studios in development across the Atlanta market. Lobb, who currently operates locations with the fitness franchise at Colony Square and Inman Park, will unveil her third location next week at 4210 Peachtree Rd NE in Brookhaven, followed by a fourth location at Upper West Market at 1385 Collier Rd NW, Suite 113. That location will likely open in mid-September, Lobb told What Now Atlanta.
The fifth location will open in Buckhead by the end of the year at The Gentry at 3172 Roswell Rd. That location is currently in the permitting stages.
Each new studio will be between 2,600 and 2,900 square feet, which will provide more space than in her two existing spots. While the class offerings will be consistent with other BODYROK locations, Lobb plans to put unique design touches on each studio to set them apart.
“What’s really important to me is that our locations don’t feel like a copy and paste,” Lobb said. “I think what we try to do well is to build a sense of community and really go deep in the relationships that we build with our clients. That’s going to look a little bit different at each of our studios, so we’re super excited to meet our new clients.”
BODYROK launched in 2011 in San Francisco and offers 45-minute hybrid Pilates classes that emphasize muscle sculpting. Class options include Sculpt & Jump, Flow, Buns & Guns, Obliques & Cheeks, Six Packs & Backs, Power Sculpt and Rok Your Body.
The fitness franchise now has locations across 21 states, with a strong presence in its home state of California. In addition to Lobb’s current studios, there are also BODYROK locations in the Atlanta market in Roswell and Cumming.
“I think I’m positioned well versus some of the other Pilates studios in the market because I’m a local operator and I have a team where a lot of them have been with me since the beginning. We try to hire really good people and people who can help us build that type of community,” Lobb said. “We’re trying to create a very welcoming, inclusive space that empowers people to reach whatever their goals are for coming in, whether that’s physical, mental or whatever it might be. We just want to be that trusted partner and that support system for people.”
Founding memberships are currently available for the Brookhaven and Upper Westside locations.
In addition to Lobb’s new studios, North Georgia BODYROK franchisee Anne Brandenberg has new locations that will open this year in Johns Creek and Milton.
