The future may hold exciting things for Memphis-area smokers. A new concept called Zen Zone Smoke Shop has filed papers to move into a Winchester Road storefront.

Locals will be able to check out Zen Zone’s wares at 1208 Winchester Road. The store has filed an application for a certificate of occupancy with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development which shows that the concept will span 1,500 square feet.

Very little information is available about Zen Zone beyond that which is promised in its name and reiterated on the certificate of occupancy form-that it is, indeed, a smoke shop. The application is still listed as “under review” as of July 30. Additionally, Zen Zone Smoke Shop attained its status as a Limited-Liability Company with the Tennessee Department of State in March of this year. While this does not provide an opening timeline or estimate, it does demonstrate that the shop is making progress and moving closer to its area debut.

Zen Zone does not yet have a digital footprint. What Now Memphis has reached out to ownership for further details and will update readers as information comes to light.
