Tidal Wave Auto Spa, which has a strong presence across the eastern United States, has a new location on the way to McDonough. It will open at 3400 Hwy 155 N in late summer.
Scott and Hope Blackstock opened the first location in their hometown of Thomaston in 1999. Private equity investment firm Golden Gate Capital partnered with Tidal Wave Auto Spa in 2020 to continue its growth. Now, the brand has expanded to more than 300 locations.
Tidal Wave offers different tiers of car washes, ranging from simple washes to waxing and shield protection.
In addition to the McDonough location, Tidal Wave Auto Spa has additional units in development in Georgia, including spots in Cordele and Vidalia.
