A San Diego-based independent alcoholic beverage company is preparing to close its last remaining tasting rooms. JuneShine plans to close its company-owned Santa Monica and Scripps Ranch tasting rooms on August 28. The company will continue to operate its retail store and serve the community.

JuneShine Bids Farewell to Its Remaining Tasting Rooms

JuneShine, well-known for its organic and transparently produced alcoholic kombucha and canned cocktails, confirmed the closure of its brick-and-mortar tasting rooms. The brand is preparing to close its final physical tasting rooms in Scripps Ranch and Santa Monica on August 28, 2026.

In the official closure announcement, the brand acknowledged that the tasting rooms “helped build this brand.”

They added, “But at the end of the day, it was never really about the space. It was about YOU. The ones who showed up all these years—the regulars, the first dates, the after-work crews, and the strangers who became besties on the dance floor. Turns out, that’s the part that really never closes.”

The company invited customers to visit the tasting rooms before they close later this month. Both locations will host a “Last Splash” farewell event on Aug. 28 before closing.

The company also thanked customers and the local community for their support.

Retail Business Will Continue

Founded in San Diego in 2018, the alcohol beverage company focuses on sustainable brewing, zero artificial ingredients, and carbon-neutral production.

JuneShine’s products are made with gluten-free ingredients and without artificial sweeteners, syrups, or preservatives.

Following the closure announcement of the tasting rooms, the company aims to focus its energy on its retail production and business operations. JuneShine is widely sold in the US through major retailers and localized grocery chains. Customers can also check the availability of products directly through the official JuneShine Store Locator.

In the post, the team assured, “JuneShine isn’t going anywhere. You will still find us on shelves, at your favorite watering holes, and out in the real world.”

The closures mark the end of JuneShine’s company-owned tasting room operations. The San Diego community will cherish the bonds and memories created in the tasting rooms of the brand.
