Massive hot sandwiches are heading to Leander. According to public filings, Ike’s Love & Sandwiches plans to open a new location at 10209 183A Toll Frontage Road, Suite 130, inside the ATX Northline development.
Ike’s Love & Sandwiches is known for its wide variety of hot sandwiches, served on its signature Dutch Crunch bread with its proprietary Dirty Sauce. The chain offers something for everyone, including options for meat lovers, vegetarians, vegans, halal diners, and those seeking gluten-free choices.
What Now Austin reached out to Ike’s Love & Sandwiches, which confirmed that the restaurant is targeting an early 2027 opening. “As we get closer to launch, we’ll share more specific dates and details on how the community can be part of our opening celebration,” the company said.
Leander’s growth was a key factor in the decision to open the new location. “Leander’s rapid growth, strong sense of community, and appetite for great local food made it a natural next step for us,” representatives told What Now Austin. “We’re always looking for neighborhoods where people value quality, creativity, and a fun dining experience, and Leander checks every box.”
The Leander announcement follows Ike’s recent opening in Pflugerville, which What Now Austin first reported on in December while the location was still in the permitting stage.
The company confirmed that the restaurant opened this summer and said Austin and its surrounding communities remain “a key growth market,” though it has not formally announced additional locations beyond Leander at this time.
“We’re actively evaluating opportunities throughout the greater Austin area and look forward to sharing more as those plans develop,” the company said.
