Chicken Salad Chick will open a new restaurant in Kyle, Texas. The quick-service chicken salad restaurant will feature a made-from-scratch menu, Southern hospitality, and convenient dining service. The brand aims to give a new dining option to the community.
Chicken Salad Chick Expands with New Kyle Restaurant
The new restaurant at 19037 I-35 will open on Wednesday, Aug. 19. To mark the opening, the restaurant will offer special promotions.
Chicken Salad Chick of Kyle will be operated by OberRoc LLC. It is a franchise group led by business partners James Oberg, Jeff Rochelle, George Shaw, and Rosemarie Acerra. The group currently has five Chicken Salad Chick restaurants in New Braunfels, Stone Oak, Roadrunner, Westover Hills, and Boerne.
The Kyle opening is the group’s first Chicken Salad Chick outside of Austin’s neighboring San Antonio market. The franchise group also plans additional expansion in the San Antonio area in the coming years.
“We’re thrilled to open our second Chicken Salad Chick restaurant this year following our launch in Boerne just a few weeks back,” said Jeff Rochelle, co-owner of Chicken Salad Chick of Kyle.
The restaurant will also help the community by hosting a pre-opening Friends & Family event. It will benefit CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital in San Antonio. The brand’s nonprofit initiative, the Chicken Salad Chick Foundation, supports organizations including CURE Childhood Cancer and local food banks through fundraising efforts.
What to Expect at Chicken Salad Chick
Chicken Salad Chick’s new location will offer dine-in, takeout, drive-thru, delivery, and catering services. On the grand opening day, the first 100 guests in line will get a chicken salad reward for a year.
Guests will enjoy the Southern hospitality “Chicken Salad Chick” is known for. The restaurant will host additional giveaways and promotions throughout its first week. The promotions include:
- Wednesday, August 19 – A large Quick Chick of chicken salad will be offered free every week for a year to the first guest in line at 10 a.m. The next 99 guests in line will get a free large Quick Chick of chicken salad each month for a year.
- Thursday, August 20 – The first 50 guests at both 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. who purchase a meal with two sides will receive a free Chick Waffle Kitchen dish towel.
- Friday, August 21 – The giveaway conditions will be the same as Thursday. Except the guests will receive a free Chick Collapsible Pet Bowl & Pet Bandana.
- Saturday, August 22 – The first 50 guests at both 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. who purchase a meal with two sides will receive a complimentary two-pack of Chick Bibs.
Guests will enjoy the signature menu for which Chicken Salad Chick is famous. The menu will feature various chicken salad flavors, fresh sides, gourmet soups, sandwiches, and desserts.
The Kyle location will operate Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. It will bring the brand’s Southern-style chicken salad offerings and hospitality to the local community.
