A new waterfront dining and entertainment venue is set to open its doors at Lakeside at Viera Town Center on Thursday, August 27, 2026. Lakeside Social is opening in Viera, Florida, through a partnership between Rogue Wave Hospitality and The Viera Company. A grand opening celebration is scheduled for the Labor Day weekend.
The Viera community can expect a variety of culinary concepts and craft beverages alongside live entertainment and year-round events.
Lakeside Social Brings a New Hospitality Experience to Viera
The new waterfront hospitality concept brings together dining, live entertainment, and outdoor gathering spaces in one destination. Rogue Wave Hospitality and The Viera Company developed the venue. It supports Viera Town Center’s broader vision of serving as a year-round community gathering place.
Located within the park, Lakeside Social sits beside a performance pavilion, large event lawn, landscaped public spaces, and around 1,000 feet of waterfront. Rogue Wave will operate Lakeside Social while managing food and beverage services throughout the park.
Daniel Todd, Founder and CEO of Rogue Wave Hospitality, said, “Our goal wasn’t simply to build another place to eat or have a drink. We wanted to create a place where families spend entire afternoons together, professionals meet after work, neighbors gather for live music, and visitors can enjoy an incredible waterfront setting unlike anything else in our area.”
Todd believes that the waterfront venue will become the community’s backyard and emerge as a place people naturally return to every week.
Earlier plans called for a June opening, but Rogue Wave Hospitality has now confirmed that Lakeside Social will officially open on August 27 at 11 a.m.
Multiple Culinary Concepts Anchor the Venue
Lakeside Social, designed to host up to 1,000 guests, will feature two bars and six culinary concepts. Its centerpiece includes a wave-inspired open-air bar, which will have 34 seats and 16 taps pouring rotating Florida craft beers. The beverage lineup will also include premium wines, handcrafted cocktails, specialty coffee, and frozen drinks.
The venue will feature another bar near the performance pavilion and event lawn. It is designed to support festivals, concerts, and community events.
Rogue Wave Hospitality will operate four signature dining concepts at the venue:
- DOUGH. Pizza Co.
- BeeG’s Sweet Shack
- 4th Street Fillin’ Station
- Modern Asian Curated Street Foods
In addition to the permanent lineup, Lakeside Social will feature two rotating culinary concepts showcasing local chefs, emerging food creators, and regional favorites. The rotating vendors will introduce new dining options throughout the year and encourage repeat visits.
Community Events Planned Year-Round
As the exclusive food and beverage provider for Lakeside at Viera Town Center, Lakeside Social will serve guests during the park’s year-round schedule of community events.
Organized by the Central Viera Community Association, the event calendar includes seasonal festivals, outdoor concerts, holiday celebrations, car shows, movie nights, family activities, and art shows. The venue will also operate daily outside of scheduled events.
Eva Rey, Senior Vice President of The Viera Company, said Lakeside Social aligns with the company’s vision of establishing Lakeside at Viera Town Center as a central gathering place for the community. She noted that the park has been years in the making and described its opening as a significant milestone for the development team.
Rey added that Rogue Wave Hospitality shares the company’s vision for creating a destination where residents and visitors can gather, celebrate, and enjoy community events year-round.
Grand Opening Celebration Scheduled for Labor Day Weekend
After opening on August 27, Lakeside Social and Lakeside at Viera Town Center will celebrate their grand opening during Labor Day weekend. From September 4 to 7, 2026, guests will experience live entertainment, culinary offerings, community festivities, and family activities.
Several regional musicians will appear for the celebration, including The Supervillains, Hot Pink, Control This!, Tru Phonic, Esh & Scheif, Xandr, Doc Fu & The Soul Surgeons, Josh Miller, Nick N Tyme, and other DJs.
Attendees can also enjoy bounce houses, Family & Kids Zone, interactive photo backdrops, craft beverage tastings, oversized lawn games, cornhole, sunset cocktails overlooking the lake, and free live entertainment.
Following the opening, Lakeside Social will operate Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
