A Cult-Favorite Burger Chain Is Expanding Its Footprint With a New Location in Downtown Atlanta

Shake Shack will open its 10th Atlanta-area location on August 13, bringing its burgers, fries, shakes, and more to Downtown Atlanta.

Shake Shack to Open at Centennial Yards

The new Shake Shack restaurant will be located at 85 Centennial Olympic Park Drive NW, Suite D500, adding another dining option to Centennial Yards’ growing mix of restaurants and entertainment venues.

To celebrate the opening, Shake Shack will offer branded merchandise, including tote bags, to some of its first guests.

The restaurant will also donate $1 for every sandwich sold on August 13 at the new location. The donation will be made to Camp Twin Lakes, which provides camp experiences for children and families facing life challenges.

Brian McGowan, president of Centennial Yards Company, said the new Shake Shack is an exciting addition to Centennial Yards and Downtown Atlanta. He added that the restaurant will give residents, workers, and visitors a new place to enjoy and gather.

What to Expect at the New Downtown Atlanta Shake Shack

The new Shake Shack location spans a 3,010-square-foot space in Centennial Yards. It will serve the brand’s popular menu, including Angus beef burgers and crispy chicken. The menu will also offer crinkle-cut fries, hand-spun milkshakes, and house-made lemonades.

The restaurant will offer seasonal and limited-time menu items to visitors. It will open from 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, it will open from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.

Shake Shack’s arrival adds to the growing mix of dining, entertainment, and hospitality offerings taking shape at Centennial Yards’ Entertainment District. Recently opened attractions include The Irish Exit, Chops Lobster Bar, and Varuni Napoli.

Spanning 7.5 acres within the broader 50-acre Centennial Yards development, the Entertainment District is taking shape as a walkable destination in the heart of Downtown Atlanta. Centennial Yards Company was created by CIM Group to serve as the owner and master developer of Centennial Yards.
