Marlow Cocktail Bar Closing

Located in the heart of Downtown Austin, Marlow, a neighborhood cocktail lounge, is preparing for its permanent goodbye.

According to the Culturemap Austin, the bar was founded by Mike DeBonville, Joe Schumacher, and Wade McElroy in 2023. It features creative cocktails and a cozy atmosphere with a menu offering a variety of pub comfort food.

The bar team shared the closure news with a social media announcement. “Sadly, we are hanging up our spurs and closing our doors for good at the end of August,” stated the team.

For its final weeks of celebrations, the bar team has plans to host DJ parties, happy hours, and other entertainment events. The team added, “So keep your eye out for the hotness, and let us know if you can bring the homies by for one last hang!”

The bar team will share more details about the upcoming events on their official social media. In the closure announcement post, the team encourages the community to visit the bar one last time before it permanently closes.

The Marlow team did not share an official reason for its closure.
