An award-winning sandwich chain plans to expand its Austin-area presence into Williamson County. According to public filings, Snarf’s Sandwiches plans to open a new location at 1310 West University Avenue, Unit 103, in Georgetown.

Snarf’s is known for its oven-toasted sandwiches made on house bread and topped with its signature blend of hot giardiniera peppers, alongside entrée-sized salads and rotating soups. Founder Jimmy Seidel opened the first Snarf’s in Boulder, Colorado, in 1996, and the brand has since grown beyond Colorado, with an expanding presence in Texas and Missouri.

What Now Austin reached out to Snarf’s Sandwiches representatives for additional details, including an opening timeline, but did not receive a response before publication. However, permitting records list a construction completion date of December 2026. Dates listed in public filings are subject to change and are not always definitive.

The Georgetown store has been listed as “Coming Soon” on the brand’s website for some time, but this marks the first confirmation of a specific address and construction timeline for the location.

Georgetown adds to Snarf’s rapidly growing footprint across the Austin area, which What Now Austin has tracked closely. What Now first reported on the brand’s plans to expand into North and South Austin, followed by coverage of its William Cannon and Burnet Road locations while they were still in the permitting process.
