Founded in 2010, Paco’s Tacos is a family-owned Mexican restaurant in East Austin serving recipes inspired by the family’s cooking. The restaurant features a Texas saloon-inspired interior with colorful decor.
The restaurant menu includes house-made corn-and-flour tortillas, salsa, and breakfast tacos.
Through an Instagram post, the restaurant shared the closure news. Located at 1304 E 51st St, Austin, Texas, Paco’s Tacos will be closing its doors permanently on August 21.
The restaurant team mentioned, “The time has come. We have decided to hang up our aprons. We have had 16 great years with so many fabulous memories. The best staff and so many customers that I now consider friends.”
The restaurant did not provide a specific reason for the closure in its announcement.
