MISS A is preparing to open its first Washington store at Alderwood, at 3000 184th St. SW in Lynnwood. Co-founder Jean Baik told What Now Seattle that the store is currently set to open September 5.

MISS A sells beauty and lifestyle products at low price points, with many items starting at $1. Its selection includes makeup, eyelashes, nail products, hair accessories, skincare, spa and body products, jewelry, and other accessories.

The company says it keeps prices low by sourcing products directly from manufacturers and limiting spending on traditional advertising and other added costs. MISS A describes itself as cruelty-free and also offers vegan skincare and makeup products.

Jean and Kenneth Baik founded MISS A in 2013, initially as an e-commerce business. The company expanded into brick-and-mortar retail and now operates more than 80 stores nationwide.

MISS A also operates its own beauty brands, including AOA Studio, and sells products online through its website. Follow MISS A on social media for updates as the opening approaches.
