T&Z Chinese Restaurant at 2550 W El Camino Ave, Suite 8, in Sacramento has new ownership. State filings show New Happy Garden 88 Inc, led by Qin Chen, filed for a new liquor license on August 19, transferring from the previous operator, S&Z Investment 88 Corporation, run by Jinfang Zeng and Anita Kumari Singh since 2022. Chen confirmed to What Now Sacramento that the restaurant will keep the same menu and stay exactly the same under the new ownership.
The restaurant has built a loyal following in the Natomas area since establishing in 2018, known for dishes like wor wonton soup, salt and pepper spicy fish, egg rolls and a wide combo chow mein selection, alongside classics like sesame chicken, orange chicken, Kung Pao chicken and mu shu chicken. It carries a 4.3 star rating on Google across more than 400 reviews, with regulars pointing to the soups and egg rolls as standouts, even as some reviews note inconsistency on certain dishes.
The restaurant sits along El Camino Avenue in Sacramento’s Natomas neighborhood, a busy corridor lined with a mix of chain restaurants, local shops and everyday retail. Nearby neighbors include Subway, Jack in the Box, RareTea and Satori Sushi and Teriyaki Grill, giving the area a steady flow of foot traffic from residents and commuters passing through one of Sacramento’s more established dining strips.
