A fitness experience that celebrates movement is coming to Arlington. According to public filings, Fly Dance Fitness plans a new studio at 5100 W. Sublett Road, Suite 150.

Fly Dance Fitness is a dance-based fitness brand that combines choreographed routines with high-energy workouts. Among its signature offerings is Throw Down, a cardio-focused class built around hip-hop throwbacks and current hits. The brand also offers formats focused on strength and conditioning, with classes designed for different fitness levels.

What Now Dallas reached out to Amy Yowell, the Arlington operator for Fly Dance Fitness, who said the studio will not open until closer to November. Yowell is currently leading pop-up classes in the area ahead of the studio’s opening, according to her Eventbrite page.

The company has been expanding through a franchise model, with upcoming studios listed in markets across the country. Its current Texas expansion includes locations in Arlington, Austin, North Dallas, Sugar Land, and San Antonio.

What Now Dallas has previously reported on upcoming developments in Arlington, including Kura Revolving Sushi’s planned location in Arlington Highlands and Paris Baguette’s new flagship location at Galleria Plaza.
