EATACO is planning to expand beyond its Northbrook home with a new location in Highland Park’s Ravinia District. The Mexican restaurant is slated to open at 597 Roger Williams Avenue in early 2027, according to information provided by the brand.

The Highland Park opening is part of a broader expansion involving owner  Serah Cicek’s restaurant portfolio. Sister concept Bean Bar and Next-Door Lounge announced plans for second iterations for those concepts, where they will be a dual concept, just a few doors down.

Cicek originally launched EATACO in Northbrook at 1350 Shermer Road in 2019. It combines Mexican-inspired food with an art-focused atmosphere. Its website states that its lead kitchen staff includes Executive Chef Javier Alvarez and Chef Jose Cruz.

The restaurant’s menu highlights tacos, elote, Brussels sprouts, Mexifries, nachos, chips and salsa, guacamole, and quesabirria. It also serves alcoholic beverages and beers, along with margaritas and mezcalitas with flavors like classic, jalapeño lime, mango, strawberry, raspberry, and passion fruit.

Attempts to contact the EATACO team were unsuccessful before publishing.
