A unique concept centered around one main ingredient is coming to south Chicagoland.
The newest Avocado Theory location is on the way to 11 S White Street in downtown Frankfort. This is the fifth restaurant from owner Krunal Patel, coming to the Trolly Barn building. Patel told What Now Chicago he is hoping to open the space by the end of November.
Avocado Theory currently serves up healthy options in Tinley Park, Naperville, Lincolnshire and Wheaton. The Wheaton restaurant was the latest opening before planning to debut in Frankfort. Patel said he was very impressed with the Frankfort area when he participated in the village’s farmers markets.
“I thought, man, this is such a great community,” Patel said.
One of the main menus is the “Power Morning” with breakfast sandwiches, pancakes and wraps. Of course, avocado toasts are options, with unique flavors like tomato basil and smoked salmon dill. Patel said the menus change seasonally, with fall options planned.
The Trolly Barn space is on the east side of White Street, near the Nebraska Street intersection. Cultivate Community Table is also at the building, as well as shops such as This & That Gifts. This will join the string of other bars and restaurants along Nebraska Street.
Patel will be updating the Frankfort community on the official opening on the Avocado Theory Facebook page.
