Something exciting is on the horizon for Ballston diners dreaming of a delicious meal served straight from the kitchen of an Italian grandmother. Grazie Nonna may not be an exact replica of a matriarch’s dining room, but its cuisine captures the flavors and warmth perfectly-and it will be ready to serve Arlington County foodies next year, reports ARLNow.
Grazie Nonna has signage posted at its new upcoming 4075 Wilson Boulevard home, confirming what previously filed permits only hinted at. The restaurant from founder Casey Patten will be taking over the space previously occupied by Rustico until its closure in 2024.
While Grazie Nonna has not yet established a precise opening date for its Ballston location, it is anticipating being customer-ready in mid-2027.
Grazie Nonna currently has one location open and operational in Washington, DC, and another in development in the Reston Town Center, projected to open this autumn.
As future regulars might guess from the name, Grazie Nonna focuses on crafting delicious, authentic Italian food. Guests can choose from a menu inspired by a grandmother’s kitchen, featuring hearty and comforting fare.
