This week, 81-year-old luxury outdoor furniture brand Brown Jordan announced the signing of a lease for a new showroom opening in the Charleston Design District. It will open at Navy Yard Charleston in late fall of this year.

Boasting 4,000 square feet of space, the Charleston Design District showroom will serve as the debut of Brown Jordan’s “next-generation showroom concept—an immersive retail experience that reimagines how designers and consumers discover and customize luxury outdoor living,” according to a press release. “More than a furniture showroom, it was conceived as a physical expression of the brand, celebrating its craftsmanship, timeless design, and innovation while serving as an accessible destination and the blueprint for future showrooms throughout the United States and internationally.”

The new showroom will forgo the traditional retail-style display, opting instead for “complete outdoor living experiences that demonstrate how the collections can be layered to create sophisticated residential and hospitality settings.”

“Charleston is an important market for Brown Jordan, with a strong design community and a natural connection to outdoor living,” Brown Jordan President Ben Collins said in the press release. “This new showroom expands our presence in the Southeast and creates a more immersive way for designers, homeowners, architects, landscape professionals, and hospitality clients to experience the brand.”
