Wingstop is expanding one of its popular flavors with new variations ahead of football season. The chicken chain is introducing the Lemon Pepper Trio, featuring its Original Lemon Pepper alongside two new options for a limited time.
Wingstop Adds Two New Lemon Pepper Flavors
According to an official announcement, Wingstop’s latest additions give customers three ways to enjoy the chain’s signature offering. The Original Lemon Pepper remains the classic dry rub, featuring lemon and cracked black pepper.
Among the new options is the Lemon Pepper Chili Crunch, which presents a mix of its dry rub with Korean chili crunch. The other option is the Lemon Pepper Chili Glaze, which combines a bright citrus flavor with sweet heat and a crispy Korean chili crunch topping.
The three flavors will be available across the brand’s menu, including its classic wings. The flavors can also be tried alongside its housemade ranch.
The press release shows that Club Wingstop members will receive early access to the new flavors beginning September 10.
The Lemon Pepper Trio will then be available nationwide at participating U.S. locations beginning September 15. The items will be available on Wingstop’s menu for a limited time, while supplies last.
The company’s President and CEO Michael Skipworth highlighted the popularity of Lemon Pepper and their efforts to offer new ways for customers to enjoy the signature flavor. He noted that the new trio follows the strong response to variations of familiar flavors while adding to the game-day experience during football season.
