Launching its first store in Minot, North Dakota, in 1938, Tractor Supply Co. has expanded all over the United States, with locations in 49 states. It is “the largest operator of rural lifestyle retail stores in the United States and [we] are committed to being the most dependable supplier of basic maintenance products to home, land, pet and animal owners.”

“Tractor Supply carries farm supplies, pet and animal feed, clothing, tools, fencing and other rural essentials,” says recent coverage by the Post and Courier. “The company has opened seven stores in the Charleston area since expanding to South Carolina in 2007.”

The coverage reveals that a new Tractor Supply Co. location is in the works in Moncks Corner’s upcoming Foxbank Towne Center.

A map published by Twin Rivers Capital shows Tractor Supply Co. opening toward the northern end of the development. The page provides a description of the upcoming retail center:

“Foxbank Towne Center is at the heart of Foxbank Plantation, an 800-acre, 2,800+ home master-planned community in thriving Berkeley County, SC. Foxbank Towne Center provides a village area with a mix of potential commercial uses including a grocery store, drug store, offices, and retail. Strategically located to serve Foxbank Plantation, surrounding residential developments and the rapidly growing cities of Moncks Corner and Goose Creek, Foxbank Towne Center is poised to become the area’s central location for work, play and shopping.”
