Burlington is preparing to open a new San Antonio location, with plans to take over a former Marshalls space at 12635 W. Interstate 10, Suite 505, San Antonio, TX 78230, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing.
The project, listed as Burlington 1931 under project number TABS2027000489, calls for alterations to the existing building for a new Burlington tenant. The planned store will span approximately 30,432 square feet.
Construction is expected to begin January 25, 2027, with completion scheduled for June 11, 2027. The project has an estimated construction cost of $1 million and is privately funded on private land for private use. The project is currently listed as registered.
The location will occupy the former Marshalls space, bringing Burlington’s off-price department store concept to the area. Burlington offers a range of merchandise including clothing for women, men and children, footwear, accessories, home décor, beauty products, toys and seasonal items.
The retailer operates stores across the United States and is known for offering branded merchandise at discounted prices.
According to the TDLR filing, WRI Fiesta Trails LP is listed as the property owner. Architectural Design Guild is listed as the design firm, while Richard Todd Lozano is listed as the registered accessibility specialist.
The upcoming Burlington is expected to open following completion of the planned alterations, although an official store opening date has not been announced.
What Now San Antonio reached out to Burlington for additional information about the upcoming location but did not receive a response at the time of publication.
