Texas Roadhouse is heading to Steele Creek, with a new restaurant slated to open at 13425 Rigsby Road near Charlotte Premium Outlets. According to a recent Charlotte Five Instagram post, the new location is expected to debut this fall, with November 9 listed as the estimated opening date.
The new restaurant is expected to add about 220 jobs to the area, according to Charlotte Five.
Charlotte Five also reports that the chain already has locations serving the area in Matthews, Concord, Gastonia, Rock Hill, and Salisbury, making the new Rigsby Road restaurant another option for fans of the steakhouse.
Texas Roadhouse is known for its hand-cut steaks, fall-off-the-bone ribs, made-from-scratch sides, and fresh-baked bread. According to the company’s website, its steaks are cut in-house by Meat Cutters and served fresh, never frozen, while its ribs are prepared through a three-day process before being grilled and finished with BBQ sauce.
The menu also includes chicken, seafood, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and country-style entrées, alongside the restaurant’s selection of steaks and ribs. The company’s made-from-scratch approach extends to its sides and other staples, including its signature yeast rolls.
Those rolls are baked fresh throughout the day and served with Texas Roadhouse’s honey cinnamon butter, one of the chain’s signature touches.
The Steele Creek restaurant is already listed on Texas Roadhouse’s website, where Kevin Allmon is named as managing partner and the location is currently hiring. Once open, the restaurant is scheduled to operate from 4 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4 to 11 p.m. Friday, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
