One proven and irrefutable truth of the culinary world: a great burger never goes out of style. The beloved sandwich has been a reliable go-to for longer than most readers have been alive, and it is showing no signs of fatigue. Indeed, Joia Burger, an acclaimed DC concept that specializes in the titular dish, is continuing to feed the enduring hunger for the dish, with a new grab-and-go location set to open before the year is out, reports Eater DC.

Joia Burger is bringing its simple but delicious menu to 14th Street, taking over the kitchen space previously utilized by Cafe Saint-Ex. The restaurant already has locations open in Mount Pleasant and Grover Park. The new Logan Circle space will differentiate itself not only through its size but also its hours. Joia Burger aims to ensure everyone can satisfy their cravings, no matter the hour; it will be open until 2 am on weekdays and until 3 am for the weekend warriors.

The restaurant has earned praise thanks to its unique approach to an old favorite; Joia offers single, double, or triple smash burgers with a Filipino flavor, alongside fries and ube soft serve. Vegetarian and vegan customers eager to sample the concept’s fare, don’t worry, chef and owner Patrice Cleary has you covered as well-Joia’s menu features a veggie bean burger and assures all visitors they need only ask to receive a fully vegan meal.

Joia Burger burst onto the DC dining scene in spring of 2024. The eatery’s use of wagyu beef helps it to stand out in a crowded market. Owner Cleary explains to Washingtonian the motivation behind Joia’s newest endeavor, saying: “I feel like expanding Joia is smart. It’s a simple concept. The menu is simple. Inventory is very low.”
