Dunkin’ is planned to join a new GoCo Shell convenience store development at the intersection of Madison Road and Red Bank Expressway in Cincinnati, according to the Business Courier.
The project, being developed by Gilligan Co., will replace the existing Rally’s and Qwench property at the busy intersection with a new convenience store development that will include a Dunkin’ location.
According to the Cincinnati Business Courier, Gilligan Co. acquired the property for approximately $3.5 million and is planning the new GoCo development as part of its continued expansion in the Cincinnati area.
The existing buildings at the site are expected to be demolished to make way for the new development. The project will bring both a new convenience store and Dunkin’ restaurant to the corridor, adding another food and beverage option to the Madisonville area.
Gilligan Co. is an established Dunkin’ franchisee and operates Dunkin’ locations in the region. The company’s involvement in the project suggests the upcoming restaurant will be franchise-operated by Gilligan Co.
An exact opening date for the new Dunkin’ has not been announced.
What Now has reached out to Gilligan Co. for additional information about the project, including the expected opening timeframe and details about the new Dunkin’ location.
