Happy Endings Hospitality is preparing a fresh serving of delicious, fast-casual Vietnamese fare-paired with a touch of whimsy and a hint of mischief-for a new market. The cheeky restaurant group will be introducing Fairfax diners to Roll Play Grill, a concept that specializes in “healthy, fresh, and tasty Viet food”, before the year is over, reports local media outlet FFXNow.
The Happy Endings Hospitality team announced Roll Play’s upcoming 10955 Fairfax Boulevard home via social media post. In addition to including multiple pictures of a storefront under construction, the announcement included the nebulous but enticing promise that the new location will be the next evolution of the concept, saying: “…we’re not being dramatic when we say this is our most exciting location yet. We’ve got a whole new vision for what Roll Play can be, and Fairfax is where it comes to life.”
Local diners won’t have to wait too much longer to learn what, precisely, this new chapter will look like. While Roll Play does not have a specific opening date available for the Fairfax location, the Instagram post states it should be customer ready in November.
Roll Play’s website offers a hint at the significance of the concept’s new home, saying: “When we opened our very first location back in 2015, we always imagined that one day we’d get to build a RollPlay that truly reflects who we are now. Fairfax is that dream coming to life. A bigger space, a whole new vision, and the chance to create a more elevated dine-in experience for you.”
Fairfax foodies can look forward to choosing from a delicious menu including pho, rice bowls, and banh mi sandwiches. Roll Play serves fast-casual fare even the most health-conscious customer can enjoy, thanks to its superior ingredients-as the website explains: “All our proteins are sourced through The Organic Butcher of McLean, named #1 Best Butcher in America by USA Today. That means American Wagyu beef, 100% grass-fed Piedmontese, pasture-raised Berkshire pork, and NAE and halal-certified chicken.”
