Golf clubs and tees are coming out of the bag at this new location.
The Back Nine Golf is on the way to White Lake at 6845 Highland Road this year. The franchisee for this concept is Waterford local Corey Brabandt, who is opening the simulator with his father. Brabandt told What Now Detroit the two are hoping to debut the location before the end of the year.
Both Corey and his father, Michael, have a passion for golf, and were looking to bring the business to markets around Detroit including Milford. Once the White Lake storefront fell into place for the value, they knew where to set up shop.
I’ve always wanted to do something with my sons,” Michael said.
The concept is known for their 24/7 access, with simulators catered to every level of golfing. Locations also have tournaments to compete against friends, and rooms can host multiple players. The company has grown to over 300 simulators nationwide.
The Back Nine is coming to the north side of Highland Road, sharing the plaza with a Pet Supplies Plus and Anytime Fitness. Siam Fusion Thai Cuisine is also at the building, and it joins a stretch of restaurant and retail concepts near the intersection of Bogie Lake Road. Alpine Valley ski resort is accessible from the road directly next to the plaza.
This specific facility will have three bays, one for private events and two for the public. After opening, the team will build out two additional bays to allow for more space. The timeline is still being determined.
Brabandt said the overall goal is to have 3-5 locations open in the future. As it gets closer to the opening, more information will be available on The Back Nine White Lake’s website.
