Many car service needs will be available at a new business in the suburb.
Planet Oil Change Centers is continuing to grow in Metro Detroit, with the latest location coming to 22412 Middlebelt Road in Farmington Hills. This comes from a listing on the company website, and the shop will offer many of the same services. According to owner Bilal Chami, the opening date will be sometime in spring 2027.
Planet Oil Changers has multiple locations in Michigan and Ohio, with prospects of expanding to other parts of Michigan including 6401 Greenfield Road in Southfield. Centers offer both auto repair and car wash services. Other than standard oil changes, the centers offer tire rotations and transmission services.
“With over 140 years of combined experience, our team of certified technicians brings unmatched expertise to every oil change, car wash, and maintenance,” says the description on their website.
The new shop will operate at the corner of Middlebelt and W Nine Mile Roads, across from Stork Collection used clothing store. A Marathon gas station is also across the street. Top Value Car & Truck Services Center is also listed at this address.
