Chef and restaurateur Scott Crawford is expanding his culinary portfolio with Crawford Caviar Company at 618 N Person St, a new venture from Crawford Hospitality expected to debut during the 2026 holiday season. Raleigh Magazine reported the upcoming concept, with the announcement shared by Crawford Hospitality on Instagram.
Additional details about the company, including its location, format and menu, have not yet been publicly announced. The holiday-season debut gives the project a late-2026 timeline, although Crawford Hospitality has not released a specific opening date.
Crawford Caviar Company adds a specialty-food concept to a portfolio that currently spans several distinct restaurant and beverage formats across the Triangle. Crawford Hospitality’s current lineup includes Crawford & Son, Jolie, Brodeto, Sous Terre, Crawford’s Genuine at Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Crawford Brothers Steakhouse in Cary.
Crawford founded his hospitality group in 2016 with the opening of Crawford & Son on North Person Street. The company describes its concepts as individually developed while sharing an emphasis on chef-driven cuisine, intentional design and hospitality.
The new caviar venture marks another direction for Crawford as the group continues to expand beyond its traditional restaurant formats. The company has not yet shared whether Crawford Caviar Company will operate as a standalone retail concept, dining experience, product brand or another format.
For now, the holiday season is the only confirmed launch window. More information about the concept, including where customers will find it and what Crawford has planned for the caviar-focused offering, is expected to emerge closer to its debut.
